    Our Story 

    Our Success Story
    When we first came to Isagenix, Gabby was interested in losing the weight she had gained while being pregnant with our twins. I am her husband and I was a skeptic at first.  It did not take long though for Gabby to get results.  It was when I saw the results right in front of my eyes that  I was convinced.
    Gabby was certified personal trainer who was teaching at least 6 classes a week when she first started Isagenix.  She was was also busy trying to keep up with our 3 boys and was always trying to keep us all healthy.  She was doing everything “right” and still she could not get down to the size she wanted to be.
    Isagenix changed all that!  Gabby got in to her skinny jeans from college and boom our business started all by itself!
    It did not long for me to catch on with both the products and the business opportunity.

    Today we work the business together.  Gabby is a busy stay at home Mom doing Isagenix full time.  She is earning more with her Isagenix Business than she ever did working at full time JOB and now we are working on replacing my income. I am counting the days until retirement and I am only 33!

    Together, Gabby and I are Top Recruiters in Isagenix (#2 March , April and May this year).  We have both time and finical freedom that we never would have had without Isagenix.

    Isagenix as a company is looking into ways to support important organizations like the TTTS Foundation 

    Isagenix is considering releasing a new pilot program to support important organizations like the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation.  This a a cause that is close to our hearts because we have been personally effect of the devastating effects this disease. We are so proud to be associated with a company like Isagenix.  One that that offers it’s associates so much.  One that would help it’s associates support organization that save lives.

    Here is our consideration letter-  Where is yours?  What’s your cause?

    What is TTTS?
    -Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) is a disease of the placenta (or afterbirth) that affects identical twin pregnancies.
    -TTTS affects identical twins (or higher multiple gestations) who share a common monochorionic placenta.
    -The shared placenta contains abnormal blood vessels which connect the umbilical cord and circulations of the twins.
    -The common placenta may also be shared unequally by the twins
    -The events in pregnancy that lead to TTTS are all random.
    -TTTS is not hereditary or genetic, nor caused by anything the parents did or did not do.
    -TTTS can happen to anyone.

    It happened to us. On January 2, 2004, at 21 weeks, our world changed forever as we were told at a routine ultrasound, that “nothing could be done to save our twins” and that one option was to  “abort the pregnancy”.

    We did not listen.  Fortunately, we found the The Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation.  It is the first and only international 501c.3. nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing immediate and lifesaving educational, emotional and financial support to families, medical professionals and other caregivers before, during and after a diagnosis of twin to twin transfusion syndrome.The TTTS Foundation is dedicated to saving the babies, improving their future health and care, providing NICU, special needs and bereavement support, furthering medical research and keeping families together the way twins are meant to be.

    Because the foundation was there to educate us and our doctors, our twin boys Alex and Ben are with us today.  They are healthy and strong, sweet and cute.  Everything that two 6 year old boys should be.  We are grateful to the TTTS Foundation and would love an opportunity to support their effort to save babies, educate doctors and help families.

    We are so impressed that Isagenix as a company is looking into ways to support important organizations like the TTTS Foundation and would like to be considered as one of the first associates to  be involved in the pilot program.

    New Jersey Girl Grows Up and Works from Home 

    I don’t know what I dreamed I would be doing when I grew up, but I can tell as a Jersey Girl, I don’t think it was working from home and I definitely had not heard of Isagenix.

    Yet some how, now with two kiddos and family responsibilities I am ready to consider both!

    The reality of working from home is a little different than the dream though and I want to  avoid common pitfalls that I have seen others fall into, so I did my research.

    Last week, the New York Times published an article by Sylvia Marino, executive director of community operations at Edmunds.com. As a telecommuter, Sylvia debunked what she described as the “myths of telecommuting.”

    You can read the entire article for more details, but I will review it for you here-

    • Shower and dress as if you’re going to work. It’s important to have structure and routine.
    • On a conference call and the dog barks? Don’t panic. Apologize, lead the dog out of the office, and shut the door.
    • Don’t tell anyone at your kids’ school that you work from home — there’s often an expectation that you can “get away” anytime to help out.
    • Set rules with the kids so they don’t interrupt you when you’re working. Sylvia says: “When I have my headset on, they know I’m on the phone. On the rare occasions when they really need me, they’ll mouth a question or use pantomime to communicate.”
    • You’re not always available. It’s important not to be perceived as holding up work back in the main office, but at the same time, you still have to leave the desk for meetings, meals, and family time (at the end of the day).
