    How Committed are you to Weight Loss? 

    Just last week I had a co-worker come into the office espousing the latest diet craze.  This particular plan involves injections or drops at a doctors office coupled with a 500 calorie per day diet (HCG Diet).  The co-worker was proudly showing off his new body and praising the program based upon his own success.  However, when he was quizzed on what would happen with his diet at the completion of the program the co-worker indicated there would have to be some modifications to change the way he ate…literally, he would have to change his lifestyle…to maintain his success.  I thought about telling him of Isagenix® but I decided to hold my tongue.

    I would venture a guess that virtually everyone that is reading this post has attempted to change their eating habits to facilitate weight loss at some point in their lives.  There have been times in my own life when I decided to eat nothing but fruits and vegetables for lunch (yeah, right!—that didn’t last long).

    There is a reason that the diet industry is as large as it is.  Authors keep generating books and the American public keeps buying them looking for the diet plan they can actually stick to for the rest of their lives.  Just go to any large bookstore like Barnes and Noble® or Borders® and walk down the nutrition aisle.  All it would take is for just a couple of those books to work (Adkins Diet, New York Diet, Mayo Clinic Diet, etc.) and virtually every other book on dieting would cease to exist.  Yet there are new diet books popping up every day.  I believe a diet book can affect your attitude, but it cannot alter your appetite or taste-buds.

    How many total points does your Isagenix IsaDerby have so far?

    Remember your goal, if you want to win this thing… here’s what it’s going to take:

    Each player should have about 20 points so far.  Remember, you’ll need about 6 points per week per player. There’s just over 13 weeks left in the contest.  So, that means your goal for the remainder of the contest is about 80 points each.

    Once you achieve Star Consultant, your next step is to achieve Executive rank, by being Active (have 100+ in volume every 30 days) and having 10 Personally Enrolled Associates (5 on each of your Left and Right Sales Team), who are Paid As Consultant at the same time within the prior 30 days.
    If you do this in your first 6 months, you can qualify as a Crystal Executive and earn special award benefits.

    It’s a Small World After All The many Countries that represent Isagenix® International 

    I have mentioned in several of my recent posts about the Isagenix® Celebration 2010 (the Isagenix® convention in San Diego).  It was an amazing experience for several reasons I have already outlined.  However, there is one aspect that I have not really touched on yet.  At one point during the convention the organizers began to ask people to identify their country of origin.  It quickly became apparent that there were attendees that had flown half way around the world to celebrate their association with the company.  The countries represented at the event included…

    Canada

    Hong Kong

    New Zealand

    Puerto Rico

    Taiwan

    Mexico

    As each country was announced a loud cheer like you would hear at a rock concert reverberated through the auditorium.  Each country made it clear they were well represented and wanted to be heard.

    Isagenix Athletes and Performance 

    “Having wellness centers in place for 2 years prior to hearing about Isagenix, what was clear in my mind was that he needed a nutritional program for all of my patients and athletes.  Usually their goals focused on Performance and because I was in a situation where I was counseling them on their diet plans, it was very important  to making sure we get the proper recovery and power that these athletes were looking for.

    I knew there was a missing link within my practice, and I was actively looking – going to trade shows all across the country, but little did I know it would show up on my computer screen – the very missing piece I was missing.  My business partner brought Isagenix to my attention.  As I looked through the before and afters and the things I could look at on the site – it seemed like just a weight loss program.

    I know it is easy to think Isagenix is just about weight loss and that’s great because the majority of the people out there are over weight.  Most people do want to lose wait and Isagenix can support that, but I also found that Isagenix is also a healthy alternative for Athletes.   So, I gave it a shot.

    My story is very simple actually.  I tested it myself, I didn’t need to lose weight but what I found in balancing my own body’s chemistry by putting this Isagenix program in my body was that I got my sleep back. On day four I was sleeping like a baby, where before I struggled with that area of my life.

    As I started to implement this (Isagenix) in my patients the results were dramatic.  I was finding increases in the performances in their athletic events and recovery times, it was obvious that something very clearly was going on different than I was used to seeing.

    I was seeing inches coming off. I was seeing substantial Body Mass Indexes increasing. I knew there was something changing and that it was directly linked to the nutrition that is in the Isagenix program.

    So, I went to work and studied  on the following the body fat analysis and the denseness of the tissues, watching the hydration of the body.  The results were very profound to me.  So Profound that I have been diligently, passionately sharing Isagenix with Athletes because they more than anyone, because of the physical demands on their body need massive optimum fuel and that is what this program has provided me and my practice

    Isagenix For Athletes

    “I was a skeptic – I wasn’t even looking for something.  That isn’t to say I knew it all, I just didn’t have a big belief in the supplementation industry.  I was a high school and college athlete, I tried to gain weight and tried supplementation and it didn’t work for me. Going on being an athlete my whole life, I realized that it was all about my food so I was all about living from the Earth.  Really eating good healthy food and that is also what I was taught in school in how to help our clients to live a healthy lifestyle.  So supplementation was almost a bad  word to me because I just didn’t feel it was something that we needed.

    When Isagenix was presented to me from a family friend, a very close family friend I said no.  Actually I didn’t even say no, they mailed me a whole package of Isagenix stuff.  I opened it up and saw a lot of pamphlets, CD’s all kinds of stuff and just went  huh, wow and put it on the way side.  I mean it was just how bad sounded to me.

    After about 3 months, my beautiful wife and I have 4 kids (all within 5 1/2 years) so my wife and I were really struggling to find a good nutrition program that would work for her.  You can image what women go through after having four baby’s or even one.  What hormones balance is like with them and what their body goes through.  So I was trying everything out there and that same family friend came back to me and said we really want you to look at this again and see if it is something that you might invest a little more information. They didn’t even want me  to do it or sign up or anything, they just said “Tell us what you think” and I said you know what I am interested in trying it but not for myself, but I want my wife to try it because she needs something.  She was really wanting to find something that would work for her, I was frustrated, this is what I do on a daily basis so for me being not able to help her was very frustrating.

    That was the miracle in our life.  She did it, had phenomenal results, and I was smart enough to say somethings here and I need to look into it, this is pretty awesome in what it did for her in such a short amount of time.

    So I started doing my research, started looking at the web sites, ingredients, who was involved.  That was really big to me because credibility is such a big thing in our industry and I wanted to see what it was coming from.  If these people really had the credentials in their background that I could you know that could possibly say that “Yea this is something good”.  Because so many people in the supplementation industry just don’t put in what they say they are going to put in their products. That is a bad part of our industry.  That was really  a big factor for me, then I had to try it myself,  I met with Jim Rhoades and we had a face to face meeting for over two hours before I even thought about doing the program.
