Do You Want IT?
Anthony Robbins said, “Most people have no idea of the giant capacity we can immediately command when we focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives.”
Focusing energy can take all you’ve got. It isn’t easy with all the distractions life can through at you.
Taking the following steps will help you to re-focus and stay in control of your intentions and achieve IT.
TEN TIPS FOR GETTING IT:
1 Have an IT – Having a strong enough reason will give you the ambition to find the how and the energy to achieve your goals. Does your goal excite you? Can it keep you up at night?
2. Write IT. Put your dreams in pictures and words and they will become real.
3. See IT. Let yourself dream, let yourself see what life would be like if you had already achieved your goals. If you can’t see it, you can not achieve it. Seeing is believing and your belief will help you to take the actions that will make your dreams come true.
4. Say IT. Tell someone about your goals and your success. Speak IT in to existence. This makes it more than just a dream. It will make your goals a reality. Your it will become something you are doing and not just thinking about.
5. Map IT. You need a plan for HOW you are going to get there or you will never arrive. Your route may change over time, but without a plan you may never arrive.
6. Know IT. Set achievable goals and a ‘by when’. We all need motivation and encouragement. Reaching your goals, celebrating them and tracking your progress will afford both, but it will also let you know when you are off track and when you need to re -focus.
7. Make IT a group thing. Share your peaks and valleys. Get support and connect with others that are on the same path. It will recharge and inspire you!
8. Take IT one step at a time- What ever is in the forefront of your mind is where your energy will go. If there’s too much there your energy will be spread thin and wasted. Focus on one thing at a time and do not refocus until you have reached your goal.
9. Do IT. Take action each day. One stroke at a time gets you down the pool. Remember that every goal can be broken down into do-able smaller steps.
