Why wouldn’t you want to cleanse your body on a cellular level with Isagenix?

The information about harmful chemicals all around us is becoming more mainstream. Everyday there are articles, and news reports about how every day chemicals that we don’t even give a second thought about are being found to negatively impact our health.  In a recent letter from the Environmental Defense Fund they state “many of these chemicals have never been safety tested”.  So you ask might yourself, “what does this mean to me”?  Consider that one of the key issues the EDF is alerting us to is the fact that these chemicals have not been tested for their cumulative effects on our bodies, and they have not been tested on how they interact with each other in our bodies.  The National Geographic magazine in an article in the fall of 2006  addressed this very scary fact. So what do we do to help protect ourselves?

Being in the medical field I was quite leery of, and continue to be leery of herbs for cleansing. So when I came across a proven system that was clinically tested, and had a proven track record of over several years, I became interested in learning more.  I had many questions and all were graciously answered by the associate who worked with me. I decided to use the system and within a few days had noticable results.  My weight loss and health improvement results were better than I ever dreamed they would be.

Cleansing our internal bodies can be a simple and effective way to assist the body in releasing harmful impurities.  Isagenix offered me a way to “cleanse” my internal body while offering me a system with a proven track record, that has been clinically tested.

If you would like to a copy of the National Geographic article or want to know more about the system I use, I invite you to view my web site and please contact me.    http://www.AileenHanson

Isagenix: Welcome To The New World!

When I was introduced  to Isagenix, I previously lived in a world where weight loss, maintaining weight loss and finding clothes that fit (even in my own closet) was extremely difficult.

It was like that dream… You know the one, you’re chasing after that elusive carrot and some day, some how you’re going to find the key to having and keeping a healthy weight.

In short, you will have “arrived”. That doesn’t mean life is perfect however, finally all the effort will have paid off with regard to this one specific area. I tell you, I found it and I didn’t have to sacrifice my first-born. I was already doing some healthy things, I just wasn’t aware of the effects of cleansing and good nutrition and how GOOD I would feel. The fact that I dropped 2 sizes and found incredible energy made me want to shout it from the rooftops!! If you would like more information on how you can start your own adventure toward better health, please visit my site.

    Be Well,  Barb

Tools to Help You and Your Clients with Isagenix Programs

Do you remember your first Isagenix Nutritional Cleanse?
Chances are you had a Coach, someone who helped with tips and ideas that lead to your success.
Well, what about you consultants?  Are they “Coaching”?  Are they helping their new Cleansers meet their goals?
Coaching can be tough, but Coaches do not have to do it alone.  Isagenix offers an amazing amount of support both in your back office and at IsaDiary.com.  Every new person should be signing up for IsaDiary for daily support and guidance through email!
Here is an example of what IsaDIary has to offer:
“Don’t let emotional eating derail your plan—

People who are prone to emotional eating consume food to soothe unpleasant emotions, such as anger, anxiety or fear. Plus, chaotic emotions can bring about an almost irresistible yearning for food.

Because food consumption is tied to emotions rather than fulfilling physical needs, overeating is common.

Medical experts, such as the Mayo Clinic, acknowledge that emotional eating can be the most difficult component to control for those who want to lose weight. But, there are steps that can help control these difficult urges.

Discover your triggers by writing down what you eat and how you’re feeling at the time.

When you’re upset, instead of eating take a walk, talk to a friend or do something else to comfort yourself.

Keep healthy snacks in your kitchen so when you reach for something, you’ll find fruit instead of cookies.

The Mayo Clinic also acknowledges that certain foods release a small amount of “mood-elevating” hormones. These foods can help satisfy the urge to eat uncontrollably. One of those foods is chocolate.

According to the Mayo Clinic, “For example, when you eat enticing foods, such as chocolate, your body releases trace amounts of mood- and satisfaction-elevating hormones… Related to this is the simple fact that the pleasure of eating offsets negative emotions.”

IsaDelight™ is our healthy chocolate treat that can help reduce emotional eating urges because it’s a pleasure to eat! It’s also low in calories and filled with amino acids and B vitamins that may reduce physical, as well as emotional, cravings for food.

You can get a handle on emotional eating. Identify your eating triggers, find ways other than eating to cope with upsetting emotions and keep healthy snacks around, including IsaDelight™!

Have a terrific day—we’ll be back tomorrow!

    The IsaDiary™ Team”

Vitamin D and winter in Northern CO

Vitamin D is not in abundance in the winter months, especially along the Front Range, in Northern CO. Experts advise us to supplement with Vitamin D to help protect us from an array of potential medical problems.  Information from a recent seminar  at the University of Toronto, Ontario Canada pertained to the “use of Vitamin D and how it can be used to prevent breast cancer — as well as infectious diseases, type 1 diabetes, hypertension, colon cancer, and falls in the elderly”.

Here is a quote from the Dr. Mercola newsletter, “Currently, the U.S. RDA for vitamin D is 400 IU (international units) for the majority of the population. (IU is frequently shortened to just “units.”) This dose was recommended to prevent rickets, which works well, but does nothing to give the far more important protection from cancer, heart disease and infections.”

So when chosing an effective form of Vitamin D what do you do?  According to this article there are 2 different forms.   One is natural and one is synthetic.

    • The natural one is D3 (cholecalciferol), which is the same vitamin D your body makes when exposed to sunshine
    • The synthetic one is vitamin D2, which is sometimes called ergocalciferol

“Once either form of the vitamin is in your body, it must be converted to a more active form. Vitamin D3 is converted 500 percent faster than vitamin D2, and is clearly a better alternative.”

Isagenix uses Vit. D3 in its products.  Once again I have found 3rd party information that supports the choices Isagenix makes when formulating their full spectrum products.

Like many,  I am interested in keeping life simple so I have time to enjoy the things I like most to do.  Since finding out about the Isagenix nutritional supplementation I know I am getting the best supplements for my body.
